This page explains what information appears in the directory, what may be collected when you browse the site, and how that may change when claim or contact features launch.

It is written for a Phase 1 public directory. If we add accounts, payments, or form submissions, we will update this notice before those features go live.

Profiles show salesperson and estate-agent details drawn from CEA open data — for example names, registration numbers, agency affiliation, licence numbers, and registration dates. That information is published by CEA on data.gov.sg for public lookup.

We republish and organise those facts so people can search and browse them more easily. Appearance in this directory is not a paid listing, and it is not an endorsement beyond reflecting the public registration snapshot we synced.

Like most websites, our hosting and delivery infrastructure may process technical request data such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. That information is used to operate, secure, and diagnose the service — not to build marketing dossiers about visitors.

Search runs in your browser against a compact index we publish with the site. We do not need you to create an account to look up an agent.

Appearance follows your device light/dark preference via prefers-color-scheme. We do not store a separate theme preference on our servers today.

We do not use advertising cookies or sell browsing behaviour to third parties. If we add first-party analytics or essential cookies later, we will describe them here — including what they measure and whether they are required for the site to work.

When agents can claim a profile or visitors can send a message, we will collect only what is needed to verify ownership or deliver the request — for example a work email, CEA registration number, or message content. Those forms will carry a clearer notice at the point of collection.

Until those features ship, do not treat this directory as a place to submit personal documents or payment details.

We use information to:

• Publish and maintain the public directory
• Operate, secure, and improve the website
• Respond to questions about the service when a contact channel is available
• Meet legal obligations if we are required to retain or disclose records

We do not sell personal data.

Public CEA facts remain public. Technical logs and any future form submissions may be processed by hosting, email, or infrastructure providers who help us run the site, under agreements appropriate to that work.

We keep technical logs only as long as needed for operations and security, then delete or anonymise them. Directory snapshots are refreshed on our sync cadence; older processed files may be retained briefly for rebuilds and debugging.

You can browse without creating an account. If you believe a profile shows incorrect public registration details, the durable fix is usually through CEA / the official register — we sync from the open dataset rather than editing CEA’s source of truth by hand.
